Music Post: Honoring a Trailblazer

IN TRIBUTE  Aretha Franklin 1942-2018:

More than a Natural Woman, you Rock Steady with Respect as we Say A Little Prayer For YouAin’t No Way the Freeway of Love will ever be the same.  Think about Day Dreaming how to be Young, Gifted and Black while going down that road in Spanish Harlem.  Showing us how to Feel Like A Natural Woman and not be caught up in a Chain of Fools but also being an example to declare I Never Loved A Man (The Way That I Loved You).  You also vowed hope and courage thinking Until You Come Back To Me (That’s What I’m Gonna Do) not concerned about Who’s Zoomin’ Who because she Knew You Were Waiting For Me.  That’s how Lady Soul put it down.  We have been blessed to experience her gift from God.  Rest in peace to the Queen of Soul.
